- Events Organiser for International Women's Day at the Royal Academy of ArtsI worked as part of a small group to organise a drop-in workshop event for families in celebration of International Women's Day. This was held at the Royal Academy of Arts. This involved using my creativity to come up with ideas and themes to create interesting workshop activities which appealed to all ages. This job also required incorporating an in-depth knowledge of female artists over the past fifty years, which I acquired through my art history degree.
- 'Rubens and His Legacy' Late Event for the Royal Academy of ArtsI was required to work as part of a small team to creatively produce an evening full of workshops and performances which would appeal to 16-25 year olds. In addition to using my creativity and knowledge of art history, I was also required to stick to a budget which meant considering the cost of everything involved in the planning of this event and considering the logistical coordination of the event. This job involved providing a quality service whilst working with the public, which helped to develop my social skills. I also had to work in a busy environment and as part of a team, sometimes overnight. This entailed working with not only other sales assistants, but also security guards and cleaners. Furthermore, I was involved in the visual merchandising of the store, creating stylish outfits, helping with displays and organising the store in a way which made it more visually appealing to customers. I was friendly and welcoming to customers as they entered the store, and was prepared to help them with whatever they needed.
