Further to graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 2014, I have gained over eight years’ professional experience across Public Relations, Communications, and People & Culture. The art of writing has played a huge part in my career to date. From writing press releases, creative proposals, speeches, and fact sheets while in Public Relations. To writing blog posts, intranet posts, job ads, and internal comms documents while in Talent Consulting. I’m now extremely passionate about pursuing a career in Copywriting on a full-time basis.
In December 2021, I built 'Lottie Writes Copy' and started Freelance Copywriting. My clients have ranged from health & fitness, to travel, food & beverage, and not-for-profit organisations. I've been responsible for writing website copy, blog posts, social posts, and newsletters.
In addition to my degree in Journalism, I also have a certificate in 'Copywriting Essentials' from the Australian Writers' Centre, and I've completed training in SEO with Udemy and The Guardian. I've recently returned to the UK after spending 5 years in Australia I'm available for full-time roles, ideally in the South of England.
