     - London, United KingdomFull Time
Before lockdown, I was working as a film researcher at a new independent cinema in London. My work primarily involved compiling seasons, watching new releases for consideration, writing copy, and liaising with distributors about the availability, cost and screening formats of particular titles. Due to the startup-like structure of the team, I also worked in other areas, including graphic design (of flyers), marketing and social media. Much of my focus had been on preparing the British Social Realism season, which was booked in to be the cinema's opening season in mid-March, but the opening had to be postponed due to coronavirus.

     - Marseille, FranceInternship
Last year I worked for a non-profit digital arts production organisation in Marseille, through the French Service Civique (a national internship scheme). My role was split between production (administration, French to English translation of calls for projects, exhibition copy, website copy and art catalogues) and communication (making trailers for events and exhibitions, social media, regular photography and videography at live events and workshops). I was often mobilised on short-term projects; these included digitising antique manuscripts in Aix-en-Provence's main library for a VR project, producing a video application for EU funding, and working with an astrophysics laboratory on selecting photographs for an exhibition. Most of my time in production was spent helping to program, organise and produce communication materials for ‘Space Camp’, a month-long programme of cultural events in Aix-en-Provence.
