    J A N 2 0 1 5 - P R E S E N T : J A C K & J O N E S S E N I O R D E S I G N E R - L O N D O N C O L L E C T I O N / C O R E E X P R E S S - Design and Product direction of the CORE EXPRESS range - Myself and a Topman graphic designer were hired to create new multi-product capsule collections that were more directional than the current Jack and Jones range. I conceive the trends and design the product; I then present the product to the sales teams and Direct to Key account customers such as Asos and Koovs. I am entirely responsible for the look and direction of this range from concept to presentation (to up to 50 sales reps) - Reaction to Markets My team is also responsible for reacting to specific requests from customers such as Asos and USC, working closely with the UK sales team as well as sales reps from our other large Markets such as France, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands and Sweden – anticipating their specific needs and influencing them to trial more high fashion lines and raise the profile of the Brand in their areas. - Liaison with the Danish team and Suppliers - I make monthly trips to the head office at Brande to liaise with the main collection team and influence the direction of their trend, as well as supplier trips to Turkey and Bangladesh and trips to visit our markets and better fulfil their needs. - Trend Prediction - I frequently update the buying/sales and other design teams with regular reports on current/future trends, upcoming brands, catwalks and shops - all aiming to convince the brand the importance of a more fashion led product. As part of a satellite office in London, a key part of my role has been to filter trend product information from London back to the Denmark office which is in quite an isolated location.

Product design for Topman Limited, Topman Design, AAA and collaborations such as Agi & Sam for Topman. - Trend development – As one of the 4 dedicated Trend Team members, I conceptualise and establish Topman main range trends. I have also created and influenced trends for the Topman Limited Range and Topman Design which is showcased at London Collections Men. - Development trips to India, Hong Kong and Turkey, I have also worked in Mauritius whilst working on other departments. - Management of Design Assistants - Delegation of tasks and development of two Assistants - empowering junior members to be responsible for areas within the department, coaching them to work directly with suppliers and present product to Senior Management. - ‘Point of Difference’ Design Representative – A team dedicated to responding to last minute styling trends using existing product in store. This involves research, trend boards, outfit styling and liaison with all departments including management. - Design Social Media and Online Representative - Working with the Online and Social Media teams to make sure the product and personality of the brand is represented. Championing design on Topman’s Instagram and driving new incentives to create more social noise about the brand. - Internet exclusives – Trends devised by myself and built with a senior member of the buying team. This included a project called ‘The Next Big Thing’ - devised to promote the ideas of the design assistants and BAAs (this culminated in a highly publicized online feature). - Student Management – Sourcing students for placements and managing their time in the office. Interviewing and judging the BFC x Topman competition in 2013 - this culminated in a full-time year internship. - Recruitment – Sourcing graduates for a Topman design full-time Freelance position including a full interview process and Project Brief - Research/inspirational trips to NY, LA, Boston, Toronto, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Tokyo, Seoul, PV Paris, Bread and Butter Festival Barcelona, Prima Vera Festival Barcelona, Coachella Festival, Ibiza, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Berlin.
