About me
Hi, I'm Louise. I've recently graduated from Norwich University of the Arts, where I studied BA (Hons) Design for Publishing. I have a love for typography and editorial design!
Projects
  • The Secret Life of the Berlin Wall
The Secret Life of the Berlin WallA proposal for a non-fiction book based on the 2009 Kevin Sims documentary of the same name. Combining first-hand accounts, a comprehensive history of the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall and a minimalist design, the book aims to bring awareness of this time period to a modern audience. The cover features a 3/4 dust jack to represent the loss of life behind the iconic event. All content has been sourced.
  • A Seat at the Table
A Seat at the TableCover design for Amy Raphael's 'A Seat at the Table'. Design commissioned by Little, Brown Books and due to be publishing in winter 2020. Hand rendered type and a bold colour palette are combined to create a cover which is unapologetically feminine.

Storehouse is Norwich University of the Arts’ official student magazine and I have been a part of the editorial for a total of four issues. I was responsible for designing pages and spreads that fit within the design guidelines and issue theme. Whilst designing for Storehouse, I improved on skills such as team-working and time management.
