  • BarChick is a leading online publication and review site for the alcoholic drinks industry. I joined in 2011 as part of its founding team and now look after all our Commercial Partnerships. Head of Partnerships * Creating and maintaining relationships with boutique sprits, major drinks brands and PR agencies. * Identifying key aims of Clients, negotiating and translating into creative content and advertising on the website and app. Highlights include leading a successful year long partnership with Peroni for the House of Peroni. * Writing and developing ideas, executing projects, integrating content through social media and our digital channels ensuring consistency throughout. Recent highlights include being a Ballantines Finest Advocate with video interview, written advertorial and personal quotes being distributed to all key markets. * Reacting to current trends and themes to ensure all partnerships are as effective as possible * Analysing performance of partnerships and results to implement findings on future campaigns. * Managing and maintaining databases of brand contacts and weekly financial reports. Brand Ambassador/PR * Represented BarChick as part of partnerships, travelling across the world to New Zealand, Mexico, Cuba, USA and Europe on educational trips whilst promoting the brand. * Judging competitions for major drinks brands, applying my extensive knowledge of spirits and cocktail making skills and in doing so maintaining our image as a key influencer. Copywriting * Responsibility for reviews, blogs and content for all major online and print publications (including The Evening Standard, The Spirits Business, Huffington Post, Easy Jet Traveller, The Daily Mail, Grazia). Online / Digital * Maintaining our Twitter (21k followers), Facebook (11k likes), Instagram (3k), Pinterest (900+k), Google+ and Foursquare accounts. * Composing and sending newsletter to 32,000 weekly subscribers through Campaign Monitor. * BarChick’s recent awards include The Telegraph Top 500 Must-Have Apps 2014 & 2015 and London’s Most Influential People 2013 & 2014.
