About me
Musician captivated by chaotic sound patterns. My work follows a strong desire for poetry. I am intrigued by its ability to push the limits of language, opening spaces where the imaginary invades the real, subtly changing our modes of expression and ways to experience the world. I pay particular attention to sonic environments which are not easily accessed by humans - especially at the microscopic scale - using technology (non-electronic devices included) as a tool to feed the imagination with natural phenomena. I hold a BA from Sarah Lawrence College (New York) specialising in Electroacoustic Composition, Music Technology, Experimental Film and Philosophy. It was there that I fell in love with Buchla systems; a love story which initiated my intimate relationship with sound. Further experiments with installations using sound as a bridge between divided spaces evolved from this encounter with Buchla synthesizers.
