Luana Asiata is an award-winning artist/designer based in London. For a number of years Luana worked as a freelance creative designer/art director in publishing and for corporate companies working on a range of designs from film, fashion, food to agriculture.
In 2020 she returned to her love of art and created original paintings and released a new collection of fine art prints that are now stocked in UK and Irish stores.
She won 'Judges Choice' for her design in the Lambeth Street Design Competition (June 2021) and she came 'Runner-Up' in the Spotted Awards at Top Drawer S/S 2020 which showcases new up and coming designers to watch. She hosted her own pop-up stall at West Elm (Flagship Store) in London and is a member of ASC and Bainbridge Art Studios.

- Lambeth Street Design Competition WINNER - Judges ChoiceThis competition is funded and supported by Lambeth Council. Everyone was welcome to apply to the competition. They were looking for local creative individuals and community groups with little or no design experience to submit their ideas to improve the space. I entered 'Your Streets Your Way' to improve 'Hillside Passage' a space that is used by a diverse multi cultural community that range from young families, professionals, elderly, dog owners and young people. - Scoop MagazineI was art director for a monthly children's magazine called Scoop. I was responsible for designing the entire magazine along with advertorials, pitch documents, creating assets for all social media channels. I redesigned the magazine giving it a fun, modern look and improved the flow of editorial content. I was in charge of the art budget, I commissioned illustrators and liaised with the printer to ensure the magazine was printed and delivered to subscribers on time.
