About me
After graduating from the European Institute of Design in 2008 with a focus in communication and art direction, I began working at Martel Italy as a junior art director helping the design team to create below-the-line and above-the-line ads for clients such as Doctors Without Borders, Heineken, Audi, and Three Having built a strong client base I decided to start my own business as a freelance art director in Milan. In 2012, I traveled to Silicon Valley and attended UI/UX focused courses at various companies including Google, Shazam, Dropbox, Microsoft Bing, IBM, and the startup school "Mind the Bridge" in San Francisco. In 2013, I moved to London to start a new chapter and began working as a Senior Visual Designer for clients and agencies such as McLaren, Coca-Cola, Lloyds Bank, Virgin Media, Op Bank, O2, Mayor of London and others. In 2015, I was appointed as the Global Design Manager at HomeAway, where I built and managed a team of 12 designers based in London and 7 designers based in the US, Germany, Spain, and France. As the company and team grew, I eventually managed a total of 55 designers and developers. Currently freelancing in London, working with agencies and clients to design products that are used by millions of people worldwide each year. Some of the clients and agencies includes: Natwest, British Airways, Global Eagle, McLaren, NHS, Bank of Oman, National Bank of Kuwait, BestInvest, Lloyd's, NS&I, MOMA, Savill's, AVIS, STA jets, Fling, R/GA, Publicis Sapient, Design Studio, the BIO Agency, AKQA, HiMumSAidDad!, Wunderman and others.
