Digital Media CoordinatorThe Alan Turing Institute
     - London, United KingdomFull Time
I have taken on several creative roles since joining the Institute that have extensively developed my knowledge in the industry. This includes: • Editing video content daily for internal and public viewing • Lead editor and producer of The Turing Podcast, The Coffee Pod and The Turing Lectures podcast series • Videographer and photographer for staff and events • Social media content creator and marketer; creating reels, posts and story content - most notably during AI UK 2023 • Managing AV and livestream equipment during live and recorded events Being the sole content producer in the company over a long period taught me how to manage several creative projects at once and overcome a challenging environment. I have learnt to trust my intuition on editing decisions and finish each project to a professional standard, whilst being conscious of strict deadlines. It also meant I took a lead on all creative production projects during this time and continue to produce the majority at the Institute. I began this role as a Digital Media Production Assistant. Through showing what I am capable of developing and creating, I was given the opportunity to grow in the company.

Education

Bachelor of Arts (BA) University of Roehampton
    London, United Kingdom
At Roehampton I consistently studied hard to ensure that I was learning as much as I could for a future in the film and media industry. Each module helped me learn different aspects of the industry in both theory-based and practical lessons. I really took a liking to cinematography and documentary filming, both behind and in-front of the camera. Throughout the three years I worked individually and within groups, creating short films that were considered as being completed to a professional standard. This gave me the opportunity to take on different roles such as editor, cinematographer, presenter and producer. My strong work ethic and positive attitude resulted in me having the honour of being the director of my group for the final year dissertation documentary.
