As part of my university placement year I worked as part of the in-house marketing and design team at Loughborough University Design School. Over the course of the placement I personally designed and manufactured a bespoke modular shelving unit to display the Schools publications. Alongside this I worked on a variety of projects including designing glass manifestations, creating graphic design content and website and social media management. Every day tasks included writing and publishing articles (print + web), web design (school website) and Photographing events and organising photo-shoots.

Ranging from designing and manufacturing mould tools ready for injection moulding through to UX design. Alongside providing me with a solid set of industrial design skills, I have also become a competent graphic designer with a solid understanding of editorial, web and typography design.
