Sustainable Designer and Stylist.Belfast, United Kingdom
About me
I am a 2019 graduate of Fashion, Textile art, and Design from the Belfast School of Art, specializing in Knitwear and experimental/deconstructed tailoring. I operate and create with the environment in mind and try to create in a circular fashion. I also act as a freelance creative and act as a networking specialist, with my skills branching from social media management and marketing to events management, to club nights, casting, photography, writing, and styling. My styling career is the most prolific of the listed above, having worked under stylists like Phoebe Lettice, Avigail Collins, and Zoe Costeloe, and smaller more grassroots projects for ASOS marketplace, DEPOP and so forth. My passions include speaking about mental health issues, body positivity, and sustainability and ethical practice in Fashion. All of which I address through my Instagram that has gathered a strong and loyal following. Recent projects include Filming a Kyra Tv x Rimmel London video for Youtube's Nayva Girls, to address online beauty bullying, and writing about Instagram pressures for Adwoah Aboah's website and platform, "Gurls talk". I am incredibly driven, with my finger firmly upon the pulse of urban youth culture, making me a valuable asset to any team. I work exceptionally well alone as well as with a team, through strong communication skills, attention to detail, and emotional intelligence.

I BELIEVE THAT WHEN WE INVEST TIME INTO OUR CLOTHING (AKA, THE OPPOSITE OF FAST FASHION) IS WHEN WE BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND THE VALUE THAT OUR CLOTHES SHOULD HOLD. OVER-CONSUMPTION AND CRASS CAPITALISM TELLS US THAT WE NEED MORE TO BE HAPPY, WHICH WE KNOW TO BE A HUGELY DAMAGING CULTURE TO BOTH OUR PLANET AND TO THOSE

CREATIVE STARTERPACK ZOOM SEMINARTrying to find your footing in the industry can be incredibly daunting especially in these circumstances! Working in the heart of an exciting up-and-coming part of Belfast, I network and help one of depop's leading sellers, 'American Madness' showcase their stock through live events. These can range from yoga to coffee workshops, to live gigs and music events. I also contribute to the social media page for the store and ensure that young people have the store on their radars as somewhere locally to acquire fresh looks.
