About me
Senior Product Developer at a creative games, gifts, home and party accessories company based in London, UK. The aim of my role is to develop in a time sensitive industry, be commercially minded, maximising profitability, maintaining existing branded products and seeking new business areas.
To be successful within my role, I have to be highly creative & forward thinking, have an ability to manage numerous ranges at any one time, display strong communication & presentation skills (travel worldwide for meetings with buyers & manufacturers).
Over 7 years experience starting as a Trainee Product Developer, quickly moving into a junior role, followed by a Product Account Manager to now (since 2017), a senior member of the Product Development team responsible for COL (customer own label - projects within the US) & TT own brand ranges.

As part of my hybrid role, I also lead and oversee the product development for all US COL customers including Party City, Pier 1, TJX, World Market and Fab Fit Fun.
US COL
• To significantly grow the US COL accounts and increase YOY sales
• Attend regular US trips, to all key accounts/ to secure business and maintain relationships
• Present US market with a fresh design approach based on my trend analysis and commercial knowledge
• Review sales on existing ranges and products within the US COL to inform future development
TT Own Brand
• Introduced a new product category to TT brand;
- Sourced homeware from India and introduced a new handcrafted look to TT current ranges
- Brought a new creative direction to the brand by envisioning what my area could be and how the product will add a new layer to TT becoming a lifestyle brand
• Attended sourcing trips including the Delhi Fair and many supplier / factory visits.
Senior Product Developer UK GroceryTalking Tables

I led and oversaw the product development for all the major grocery retailers including Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.
• Driving the team to win new/maintain SKU’s within new category’s and new customers
• Annually present Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter product innovation to Category Managers and Buyers at key retailers
• I lead sourcing trips in the Far East & Europe;
- Approve products, maintain relationships with suppliers and source new product categories
- Negotiate competitive pricing and work through product specifications
- Attend sign off meetings in Hong Kong with Tesco technical teams
• I was line manager to the PD Assistant, and I provided coaching and support to encourage her growth and to help contribute to the success of our ranges
