Assisting in the preparation and installation of artistic display and visuals both in-store and window display for the opening of a new London store. Components for all of the displays are hand made onsite to a very high standard demanding precision, time efficiency and self motivation. Prepping, installing and dressing a window concept for Ted Baker stores that rolled out throughout the UK and Ireland. Closely following briefs and inspirations designed by Millington Associates, I was responsible for installs in both Dublin and Belfast stores for the ambitious ‘Ted turned on his head’ upside down/underwater concept. Also assisting in the preparation and installation of a large NIKE ‘flyknit’ display at Niketown in Oxford Circus, London
Working closely with the Art Director in designing, making and sourcing props and costumes to tight time frames for this big brother spin-off show broadcasting 6 evenings a week on Channel 5. This role demands working to strict schedules to ensure all set changes and prop needs are met during live shows, pre records and rehearsals. This also includes regular set maintenance and repair to ensure a safe working environment and exceptional aesthetic presence on air.
Managing a set dressing team of 2 and co-ordinating a visual display team of 12, this role involves creating and implementing innovative set and location dressing and product display for 3 live shopping channels. Including sourcing and making exceptional theme, product and event support props and POS with the ability to successfully communicate artistic ideas. Styling and dressing events, sets and locations to an exceptional standard to showcase products in a variety of themes while remaining loyal to the brand aesthetic with an awareness of current interior, fashion and retail trends. These responsibilities include: - Creating visually exciting displays and sets to brief, to deadline and to budget for live studio, pre record, video and photographic shoots. - Working closely with buyers, marketing teams, producers, directors & external agencies to create strong sets and product support from all angles of the business. - Designing, sourcing and making props and POS to enhance product display and enable product demonstrations on air. - Developing and successfully communicating guidelines to a team of 14.

The role involves sourcing and making product and event support props and POS to brief, successfully communicating artistic ideas, Photoshop design & editing, styling and dressing events, sets and locations. Also the general day to day running of the department including prop repair and maintenance and an organised storage system for all props.
