I worked as a runner/production assistant as part of the researchers’ team for the live shows of series 13 of Britain’s Got Talent. As part of this team we were in charge of the contestants, handling their schedules, getting them through costume, makeup, rehersals and the whole way to the stage door for the live shows.
I worked as a location agent, finding and organising locations for shoots of all sizes, ranging from big budget feature films to photography shoots. In this role I was sent on set several times for the length of production, in the role of Location Guardian. In this role, I worked alongside the location manager to organise the running of the shoot in regards to the location, doing things such as liasing with the Fire Marshall to disable fire alarms, etcetera.
I worked as a runner on a music video for Louie Tomlinson, for a song called ‘Kill my Mind’. I worked directly under the 1st AD, assisting with crowd control and handling paperwork.
I have worked with Pickle and Co on two main projects, both short films, in which I had the role of Producer. ‘Lúbtha’ is a gay coming of age film based in 90’s Northern Ireland. For this we have been selected for numerous internationa festivals, and we have also gained some interest online, with around 700,000 views on YouTube so far. ‘The First Saturday of May’ is our more recent, more nïche film, which follows the story of a trans child in an Irish travelling community. Although this film is newer, TFSOM has also gained a viewership online, and have been selected into festivals.
I worked as a production assistant on the feature film, ‘Hilda’. In this role, I assisted a small crew, aiding the spark as well as fulfilling the standard ‘runner’ jobs. I also worked directly under the producer, aiding him with various tasks. After working in a day’s shoot in Shoreditch, they crew commended me to the heads of department, and I was then asked to come to Manchester with the production for three days of filming.
