Original-thinking sculpture graduate and emerging artist from the Royal College of Art with a year of teaching experience and knowledge of gallery administration.
Culture and the Arts have a unique ability to change the way we look at the world, and making, visiting and teaching contemporary art are my main interests. I regularly attend private views, visit museums and galleries, staying up to date with other cultural activities, events, and trends.
I have a good knowledge of practical core making skills and I am an efficient, organised and adaptable individual looking for a new challenge working as part of a team within a dynamic, fast-paced and creative environment. I have won writing and sculpture prizes including site-specific commissions by successfully pitching my proposed project to large organisations such as Oxford University Press (and was also shortlisted by Clyde and Co. and Bluewolf).
I have a proven track record of strong writing skills, including winning the RCA School of Arts and Humanities Art Criticism Prize last year. The prize concluded with a trip to Shanghai to the International Awards for Art Criticism, 2017, and to be part of a round-table discussion at Shanghai University debating the need for art criticism in contemporary society.
I achieved two distinctions in both BFA and MA dissertations and my writing has been included in student magazines. I have co-written press releases for exhibitions with other student artists and managed social media outlets for these self-initiated events.
