Education
Bachelor of Arts (BA) University of Leeds
Leeds, United Kingdom
I began my higher education journey at King’s College London, studying a BA in French & Hispanic Studies, before dropping out to pursue a more creative path: Broadcast Journalism in my hometown of Leeds. I gained practical skills in TV production, theoretical knowledge in politics and media practices, while also taking advantage of departmental equipment to self-teach photography in my own time outside of class. I was later awarded the Spark Enterprise Scholarship to assist my creative business ventures, and switched my degree title to reflect my best skills and interests for the remainder. Having spent the penultimate year of my degree as an Industry Year abroad in New York City, and several months of this year in Paris, I have managed to keep up with my French while catering my final year studies around Feminism, Music and the Creative Industries. Due to complications in my personal life related to the coronavirus pandemic, I am due to complete my degree in January 2021 — though I am no longer attending any classes.
