I am a dynamic hard working individual with a love for music and fashion. I am lucky enough to have been able to combine the two in my work and now am a fashion stylist specialising in musicians and brands. I live in London but dream one day of living in New York. To fund my dream and favourite work, I also do personal styling and e-commerce styling which I do with just as much enthusiasm and joy.
After working in an office for some time I realised my real passion was still fashion styling. I decided to bite the bullet and leave my job and go freelance. I have not looked back and have worked with some exciting brands and magazines since. My real enjoyment and skill is in styling musicians and bands and I have been lucky enough to pursue this. I can do everything from gigs to music videos, events and everything in between.
I worked in the insights department, we found trends brand specifically. I started off as an intern and then got quickly promoted to project manager.
I freelance as a stylist and work in the Hermes stores demonstrating new ways to wear their gorgeous scarves.
Whilst studying at Conde Nast College, I worked in the pub the imperial. I very quickly honed my people skills and developed a patience only people working in the service industry can achieve. Working here and at college left me with very little free time and a long lasting work ethic.
Rare is a small catering and events company. I would help waitress and set up for events they would throw. They ranged from catering fashion press days to private dinner parties. This taught me to be really adaptable and I often had to think on my feet and improvise.
At only 19 I managed to get this amazing job. In the short time I was there, I learnt a lot about advertising and how to get a brand out there. I was in charge of promoting Bata shoes and over saw the photo shoot for the ad that was to be shown across Asia. Although it was a fabulous job, I ultimately realised I was too young and inexperienced for it.
I interned in the PR department. I had to do regular send outs and collections, make sure the show room looked nice at all times. Prowl through magazines and find any press about moschino. Most excitingly, I got to help choose what clothes to send according to the brief.
Parkers is a small fashion agency, representing brands from across Europe. I learnt the basics about buying and selling fashion whilst assisting in all areas of the business.
