About me
Lucy is a multi-faceted artist, designer and creative technologist. A trained artist, Lucy creates extended reality art experiences, teaches digital technologies at London College of Fashion and has co-founded The Immersive Kind, art and advanced technology organisation and creative extended reality (XR) studio. Lucy explores the chaos in our world and is a London based art, sustainability and metaverse creator and researcher. She has worked in creative technology outreach and exhibited online and offline whilst also establishing herself as a creative director for contemporary art and creative technology industries. Lucy has given talks for various cultural organisations including, Brazil Immersive Fashion Week, British Film Institute, Digital Catapult, Chelsea College of Arts, Digital Maker Collective, Plymouth College of Art, Somerset House, Studio Wayne McGregor, Tate Exchange, Women in 3D Printing. After achieving a First Class BA (Hons) Fine Art degree at University Arts London, Lucy was invited to be the July 19 Gazell.io Digital Art House resident, toured her virtual reality project, ‘Just-in-Time’ at multiple pop up art and tech events with The Immersive Kind. Lucy has been selected to exhibit in various group art exhibitions at art spaces including A.P.T Gallery and Wimbledon Space.

    The Immersive Kind is a multi-faceted art and advanced technology organisation that amalgamates as an extended reality creative studio, a 24/7 global online community and open digital arts platform. It is made up of a multidisciplinary and expansive team of architects, artists, creative technologists, neuroscientists, artificial intelligence engineers, and data scientists. We offer opportunities to collaborate with the XR studio and access to emerging artists pioneering advanced technology tools. We work towards redesigning and inspiring inclusive and 21st century approaches and solutions to the digitalisation of society. The Immersive Kind Collective is an open collaboration group of creative tech pioneers, digital studios, makers labs, artists, creatives, product designers, industrial designers, professors, students and alumni who are al pioneering emerging technology to create and to bring about new ways of producing and making art for the greater good of society. We are hosting events in a quarterly summit and have invited speakers ranging from creative technologists to beatboxers to artists. Upcoming event: on the 4 Sep The Immersive Kind will host an event at Here East on the theme of 'The Sustainable, Ethical Human' - From Pineapple Skins To Self Build Housing. How are Creatives Changing Our Culture? Featuring talks and insights from leading creative studios and practitioners that are all putting sustainable, ethical design at the heart of their practice. Lucy has given talks with the Immersive Kind Collective to promote social inclusion including: Sports Interactive Games for Women in Games, Hobs 3D for Collaborative Learning and The Trampery on the Gantry for supporting pioneering artists in VR. Lucy is the Art Direction Lead for The Immersive Kind Collective.
