    Writer and Editori the Stylist
    London, United KingdomFreelance
I have worked as a writer and editor for the magazine i the Stylist, writing my own pieces, as well as managing, editing and uploading the work of other contributors to the website, using Content Management Systems, such as Wordpress and SEO. The job also includes a high level of communication and organisation, representing the magazine through liaising with artists, venues and reaching out to PRs, as well as, representing the magazine in meetings, attending events and editorial team meetings. Within this includes arranging, conducting and transcribing interviews with performers. Overall my position demonstrated a great deal of time management, organising the day to day running of the music section, coordinating with social media, managing contributors to the magazine and generating new ideas for articles and segments for the website. During this three-year degree course I utilised and developed my writing and research skills. This is evidenced by the high first on 75 I achieved in my history dissertation, which evidenced and developed my research skills, including archival work and use of primary source material. Whilst at University I was also an active member of a number of societies, including writing for the student magazine and newspaper, and being part of the Music Society, performing in choirs and a Capella groups.
