Sofar Sounds reimagines the live event experience through curated, secret performances in more than 400 cities around the world.
Event manager at Sofar Sounds Coimbra
- Booker & Artist Liaison: booking concerts with artists (up 4 per event); keep in touch with the artists and their management teams
- Listening Team: recommending musical choices to the upcoming events
- Venue Manager: managing places and find new places to make upcoming events
- Demonstrated huge positive attitude to this initiative and showing a great enthusiasm on working with a busy creative team.
- Demonstrated strong researching skills when suggesting 30+ potential artists to perform for Sofar Sounds; Including both national and international options, listed with their names, music genre, location, number of musician per artist group, manager's name and contacts;
- Develop ability to deal with confidential issues professionally when implementing the event PR strategy; location of performance venue to the public on the event day, line-up of artists for the event immediately prior to the event;
- Develop organizational skills when welcoming up to 200 guests invitations to attend an event, inviting up to 4 artists per event, keeping in touch with artists, answering to artists suggestions, developing knowledge on new music artists and new alternative musical styles and learning about networking marketing.
