At Wun's Tea Room (owned by Bun House), I performed a range of duties as part of a team. As a host, my responsibilities included welcoming guests, managing online correspondences and reservations, adapting to and fulfilling guest's requests, ensuring tight 1.5 hour table turnover times and liaising with other front of house members to ensure smooth service. On the other hand, running a section required excellent attention to detail, proficient multi-tasking and most of all tactful people skills, especially when dealing with demanding customers and/or a busy floor. Many of my responsibilities were also very physical, including running food and drinks, opening and closing the restaurant and cleaning. I'm highly experienced and comfortable with POS systems Lightspeed and Resy OS.

Originally starting as a cinematography intern, I was able to quickly expand my role into a paid position by taking initiatives that would benefit this young company. I hence became responsible for representing and making decisions regarding the company's image. My excellent people skills served me when collaborating with warehouse workers to film high quality social media content with no budget and were crucial to building connections with customers, who then eagerly shared useful feedback and often wanted to become involved. Much of my job consisted of ideating, gathering footage and editing content, although I also performed clerical tasks and assisted other roles where needed. As a fast learner, I also developed some animation skills to animate a logo sequence which could be used in videos across all platforms to create a strong media presence.
