I'm Luke, a London-based menswear designer originally hailing from Oxford, England.
Graduating this year from the MA at Central Saint Martins, I have worked to accrue a wealth of industry recognition and experience alongside my studies, notably being recently awarded the 2020 Dunhill Design Prize by English luxury house’s creative director Mark Weston, and in 2019, when Brioni, the Italian masters of tailoring, sponsored me by manufacturing my BA collection in their ateliers in Abruzzo, Italy.
Further placements at the likes of Alexander McQueen, Rapha, and Savile Row have further developed my grasp of the men’s luxury wardrobe, as I work in my practice to push into new territories for the Post-Covid world.
Always seeking new challenges, new connections, and opportunities to collaborate.

Design Interndunhill
- London, United KingdomFull Time
Secured as part of the 2020 Dunhill Award after winning a design project set by creative director Mark Weston.
Immediately put to CAD work on photoshop and illustrator for their final round of sample launches upon arrival, I directly assisted the senior designer for the duration of the placement working toward the house's SS22 collection. Following the presentation, I assisted with initial ideation and research of their AW22 collection, as well as working on VIP briefs and independent research and trial sampling projects.

Creative InternBrioni
- ItalyFull Time
I closely assisted Brioni's design team lead by Maison Margiela alum Nina-Maria Nitsche in the lead up to SS19, her second collection at the house, as well as the initial phases of AW19.
I worked closely with Nitsche and her team on a diverse variety of projects, from graphics, to denim, leather goods, and leisurewear, as well as copywriting for labelling and press release. I provided a great deal of research materials, and was rewarded by the opportunity to be able to contribute many original ideas to their general creative process, and being encouraged to give input at every meeting.

Awarded £5000 and a three-month placement with British luxury design house Dunhill.
