A content creator seeking work which will utilise the skills developed whilst being an editor/illustrator at Weber Shandwick, editor/digital operator at Visual Data Media and a graduate of Digital Media, whilst also developing essential skills which would allow media progression. Working on a high number of client and course projects has ensured originality and quality whilst successfully meeting deadlines throughout.

While in Visual Data Media I had the chance to work on editing jobs for such clients as BBC, Channel 4, Netflix, as well as a variety of other broadcast companies and production companies. My role involved me taking on a variety of tasks, from editing a whole programme to be broadcast, taking an already broadcast programme and re-purposing it, mixing audio, as well as a variety of other tasks.

Whilst at Weber Shandwick I worked in the studio department editing videos and creating graphic design work for high end clients such as Vauxhall and Unilever. On top of editing I also had the chance to film and assist on shoots. I learnt a considerable amount about working within a studio and how to work and communicate with clients to create the desired finished product.

Within my course I studied a number of different fields and technologies to do with digital media. I learnt how to; edit film, create animations, create app and video games, further my analytical writing skill, how to create my own website, and design and edit artwork and images, as well as other things. However not from an academic stand point I also improved my leadership skills and confidence in working with others and leading a team efficiently.
