About me

Luke P Priest, MA (hons). Film Maker and Composer. Whilst studying a Dual Honours degree in Music and Music Technology at the University of Keele Luke took a module on Film Music, during the module he found a passion for Film Composition. During his final year he made his first short film 'The Turing Test' to compose for. Luke graduated from Keele in 2017 with a First Class Honours. Luke then studied a Masters in Composition for Film and Television at the University of Bristol. During which time he composed for the award winning animation 'Post Mortem' and made his second short film 'Marla'. Luke graduated from Bristol in 2019 with a Distinction. After finishing his Masters Luke worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Music Department at a school in South Korea - NLCS Jeju. While in Korea, Luke also continued to work as a freelance composer, as he also continued to hone his visual editing skills. Since returning to the UK, Luke has moved back to Bristol where he now works on a variety of projects including: short films, documentaries, promotional videos, and music videos.

• Perfect Symmetry - Twilight DrivingPhotographer and editor for the album artwork for Twilight Driving's 'Perfect Symmetry'. 2020. UK
• Link Up - Twilight DrivingLyric Video for Twilight Driving's "Link Up". 2020, UK. The video is made up from stock footage from "cottonbro". Edited by Luke P Priest. Luke also created the album artwork for Link Up. This photoshoot however was a little different to the others in the set - this was the final shoot of Twilight Driving's 4 singles but unfortunately fell during the 2020 Corona Virus lockdown. This meant Luke couldn't go and set up a photoshoot - instead he packed up his equipment and delivered it to a friends
• Resuscitate - Twilight DrivingLyric video for Twilight Driving's 'Resuscitate'. Director and Editor. Created remotely during the COVID-19 lockdown. I also created the album artwork for this single.
• Break Your Heart - Twilight DrivingLyric video for Twilight Driving's 'Break Your Heart'. Director, Cinematographer and Editor. I also created the album artwork for this single.
• Illuminations - Boston SidecarMusic videos for Boston Sidecar. 2017, UK.
• Someday - Will MavinEditor for the lyric video for Will Mavin's 'Someday'. The original footage was provided by Will and his family. Will requested both a portrait and landscape version of the video to use across a variety of social media.
