Communications & Project Management Professional London, United Kingdom
About me
A highly capable professional seeking a role in a socially and environmentally conscious organisation; drawing on demonstrable experience in non-profit project and event management, communications, digital marketing, media relations and stakeholder engagement - with previous roles at Environmental Justice Foundation, This is Rubbish, Big Green Week and the Green Party of England and Wales. Proficient creative - technical skills, a keen eye for design and composition and an aptitude for writing suitably nuanced copy for a range of audiences and platforms are assets that I would bring to any role. Further, I possess proven track record in website development having briefed and worked alongside designers in a variety of roles. I studied Psychology and Zoology BSc at University of Bristol. Whilst I did not pursue academia, my degree continues to inform my approach to environmental work, where an understanding of biological systems and behavioural science is an asset. I am committed to food waste issues, sustainability and more broadly, anthropogenic impacts. This is evidenced by my current role as Non-Executive Director at food waste charity This is Rubbish, and previous roles at the Soil Association and FoodCycle. As a result, I am informed as to the current social, political, policy and academic landscape in this area.

Psychology & Zoology BSc.University of Bristol
     - Bristol, United Kingdom
Best described as 'evolutionary approaches to human and animal behaviour', my degree comprised an up to date account of biological organisms at all scales of organisation with particular emphasis on animal behaviour, and a thorough grounding in human psychology. Whilst I did not pursue academia, my degree continues to inform my approach to environmental campaigning, where a thorough understanding of biological systems and an evidence-based approach are useful assets.
