Artbrat is my creative project I’ve been working on since finishing my degree. I knew coming out of university, it would be hard to find a creative job that suited my interests in the sector. Artbrat was a way for me to remain relevant and creative and to build on my skill set and experience. Artbrat as a brand focuses on jewellery and other small accessories including the potential of developing more complex pieces such as eyewear and bags.
I work mainly in silver and acrylic, and I like to incorporate different mediums. I want Artbrat to be a conscious brand which thinks about the impact of materials used in manufacturing. It’s important to not green wash, and so as a brand and a creator, it’s a focus of mine to be very honest about the learning curve I am taking on, to ensure that green goal of mine can be achieved
Everything from product, to branding has been designed and made by me. I recently launched my website which was more successful than originally thought. And I am soon to launch the next stage in the collection
