Founder Lydia Bolton created her namesake brand in 2019 at the age of just 25, when she felt a responsibility to create fashion in a way that didn’t harm the environment.
Using secondhand clothing sourced from thrift stores and unsellable items in charity shop, Lydia painstakingly unpicks unwanted garments before choosing which fabrics to reconstruct into innovative new patterns. She then creates each of her bespoke designs by hand, at her studio just off of Brick Lane in East London.
By preventing clothes from going to landfill, Lydia aims to be a catalyst for change in the fashion industry. Zero waste is at the heart of everything her brand creates from the packaging to the screen printing process, and as a force for good it focuses on finding solutions for mass fashion consumption.
