About me
Ever since I was a child I have had an unlimited curiosity for new and different things happening in the world and have always had the urge to get involved. Constantly eager to learn, my interests and skills expand in many different ways striving to grow on a personal level, from studying Biology in my hometown to exploring the creative languages of photography and animation in Barcelona. For me, the real risk is not changing. This is the reason my work is interdisciplinary. My passion for teaching and inspiring social change emerged while leading an international cultural project in Guatemala. This experience opened my eyes to the power of education and inspired me to pursue a career as a Spanish teacher, the language I love. I am a positive, adventurous and creative person with a good sense of humor. I love to smile and to see other people happy, take care of them. I believe that beauty, in all forms, is an essential component of our lives and strive to integrate it into all aspects of my work I have always felt the need to express myself through different languages, to communicate with words or without using words. After years of teaching Spanish and leading language schools, I set out to develop a method that would transmit my values and beliefs. Sobremesa.Institute is the place where all the things I care for come together.

Brand Video · Sobremesa.InstituteSobremesa is a Spanish term that carries the weight of a culture, our culture. It begins once dessert ends; when time slows down, when voices meet and thoughts are shared, when words run freely to form conversations, when life takes place above and around a table.

Sobremesa.Institute is thrilled to offer you a unique learning experience that blends the richness of Spanish language with the creative community in Barcelona. Our Spanish Program takes the best from the digital and non-digital world for an interdisciplinary approach to language learning and to create an unparalleled learning experience. ● Online Spanish Courses: The Spanish language method designed for a world that plays by new rules. A bespoke digital experience based on your personality, interests, and necessities that provides you with the skills and knowledge to communicate in the real world. ● Inspirational Spanish Immersions: We believe that learning is not a race against time. We know it is a process and, for us, the journey is part of the experience. That’s why our one-week Inspirational Spanish Immersions have been meticulously crafted for the modern nomad, for the respectful and curious adventurer, for the culture lovers. Because we don’t just want you to see the city, we want you to feel the city. After years of teaching Spanish and leading language schools, we set out to develop our own method that would transmit our values and beliefs. We began by asking ourselves a very simple question: What makes us tick? The answer: words, spontaneity, movement and art. ● Words are powerful: They trigger worlds of emotions. They are alive! Words rule our world and define our identity, and we would like to share them with you. ● Spontaneity is a quality: When you’re spontaneous, you’re free of constraints. Our drive is to create the right environment so that nothing stands between you and learning Spanish. ● Movement is change: Everything is in constant change. In life, you move on and move forward. We love travelling and found a way to incorporate movement with our unique language immersions. ● Art is transformative: We want to transform the way a language is taught and make every step of the process count. Because words, like art, are also a form of expression. Spanish is a language that’s been around for centuries, but it’s never been taught like this before. ● Welcome to the unconventional Spanish school!
