Editorial leader of multi award-winning digital network. Awards included Best Digital Web Channel, Broadcast Digital Awards 2018, Gold for Content Team of the Year at the British Media Awards 2019 and Digital Editorial Team of the Year: Consumer at AOP Publishing Awards 2019. Part of the launch team for Beano Digital Network, a new digital content proposition for 6-12 year olds that launched in September 2016. I am responsible for all online content output for Beano Studios, including beano.com and YouTube ensuring we produce creatively excellent videos and interactive content for kids. I manage a team of 10 multi-skilled digital creatives to drive innovation and high quality.
I commissioned and produced interactive digital content and short-form video to support key Channel 4 and E4 brands for young audiences, including Fresh Meat, My Mad Fat Diary and Raised by Wolves. I devised and implemented highly effective social media strategies for priority shows to engage and grow an active fanbase. This included Sunday Brunch, Chatty Man and My Mad Fat Diary. I worked alongside All 4 Commissioning Editors and Brand Partnerships to develop, deliver and support ad-funded short form series, including Phil Spencer: Home Hero. As an editorial stakeholder, I worked with the Product team to feedback and help shape the ongoing development of the All 4 platform.
