• Managing the delegate audience for high-end life science events by pitching and up-selling attendance to C-suite executives along with expert scientists.
• To successfully sell, I needed to learn the in-depth marketplace for the event portfolio to discuss the industry with delegates. I set up multiple Google Alerts and continually researched the space. I had to be an expert and know everything that was happening within a particular topic.
• Meticulously noting every email and call to organise my current clients, along with collating individuals for group bookings and liaising across the accounts. Prioritising whom to contact and when to maximise productivity.
• Consistently I achieved the maximum number of dials/day to push myself while enjoying working with my friends in a team.
• I volunteered to be a mental health first aider at work to support my co-workers.
• Contributing my thoughts and ideas to try and find solutions to challenges was something I enjoyed the most as I learnt a lot from the feedback.
• Regarding my targets and deadlines, I frequently hit and exceeded my targets and pushed excitement towards registering before the Early Bird rate.
