  • The Jamie Oliver group of companies is responsible for ‘all things Jamie’, in particular food/recipe development, books, magazine content, TV, food/non-food products, endorsements, PR, marketing & syndication throughout the world. Within the group there are a range of businesses which span across various industries such as TV Production & Commercials, Publishing, Charity/Social Enterprise, Retail, Events, & Restaurants. The Group’s activities also cover development of creative output for New Media (Online, Apps, Social Media). Provided full administrative support & assistance to the Legal & Business Affairs department, consisting of the General Counsel (also Media Ops Board member), & 4 In-House Lawyers (Media, Corporate, Commercial & Intellectual Property), & we serviced the whole business. ● Central point of contact for team and acted as general intermediary; fielding emails/information and acted or responded on their behalf where necessary. ● Multiple Diary Management; forward planning, organising, coordinating and prioritising meetings, liaising with associates and colleagues. ● Preparation for meetings/conference-calls including booking meeting-rooms and coordinating travel arrangements. ● Prepared sets of contracts for signature, coordinating the execution process and liaised with other parties to progress. ● Document management; implemented and maintained electronic, digital and manual filing systems of high volume of legal contracts and documents accurately and in a timely manner, and archiving. ● Maintained records and status sheets of contracts, documents and key options dates. ● Amended draft contracts using track changes and compare tools. ● Submitted expense claims & noted any internal recharges. ● Intellectual Property; managed large portfolio of domain names for the business - responsible for registrations/renewals/transfers. Reporting/Takedown of Trade Mark and Copyright infringements, and reviewed Trade Mark Watch Notices. ● Ad Hoc research.
