Whimsical characters and adventure is my inspiration, and I really enjoy creating surface patterns and illustrations for wall art and greetings cards. I've illustrated a children's book "Ned's Grand Quest" and am looking to self publish my own children's book in the near future. From working in the print industry(laying out books for print) I gained a great deal of knowledge in this field and can apply this to my artwork.

During my maternity leave I began creating a series of colourful illustrations for nurseries and children’s bedrooms using Adobe Illustrator, which I sold as prints in my Etsy shop. Through my Instagram following I began creating everything from logo designs to surface patterns and custom illustrations and greeting cards for a range of small businesses. In May this year I illustrated my first childrens’ book and really enjoy the wide variety of design projects that I’m currently involved in.

Graphic DesignerDeltor
- Saltash, United KingdomFull Time
I began at Deltor by redesigning their logo and branding, I then went on to overhaul the company website and redesign their marketing materials to tie in with the new branding. I also designed graphics and competitions for the Facebook page. Design work day to day for Deltor’s clients included clothing catalogues, prospectuses, menus, brochures, university mailouts, calendars, large scale signage and vehicle decals. Working at Deltor improved my skills using Adobe Indesign and Illustrator as well as learning the print software client Apogee. I managed some digital jobs from initial design ideas through to laying out the print ready artwork and operating the Ricoh and Anapurna, digital and wide format printers.
