I have worked for three years as a business development executive with a top public relations firm in China. During my time there, I served clients in a wide range of sectors, whose brands enjoy international recognition, such as Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, the Estée Lauder Companies and HSBC. As the head of the group that served these clients, I developed comprehensive solutions packages to help these clients reach their marketing objectives in the Chinese market. I met with clients, conducted business analysis and market research workshops, drafted designer briefs and strategic plans, and was responsible for the pitch process as a whole. In particular, I secured a fruitful and lasting relationship with Estée Lauder, having secured contracts for campaigns for Origins, Crème de la Mer, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, and Jo Malone London, worth well over £1.5 million for the time I was there. I moved to London in June 2014 to pursue a master’s degree in media studies. During my time in London, I collaborated with the high-end fashion retailer Greybook, and helped them develop and execute a marketing campaign during the 2015 London Fashion week. I am also continuing to help them with the development of three new retail concepts, which focus on promoting new fashion talents both in Europe and in the emerging markets such as China. I am greatly interested in working in the UK, and am fascinated with the opportunities and challenges that brings. I believe that if given the chance, I would be a great addition to your client.
