I am a recent History graduate from King's College London. I have been involved in numerous amateur dramatics productions - from 'My Fair Lady' to 'Oh What a Lovely War' to pantomines - and am ready to apply my interest and skills in a professional capacity. I am interested in working in theatre, film, and TV. My ultimate aim is to work in the costume designer and maker, as I am fascinated by the clothes people choose to wear, and I love creating them. However, I am interested in working in any part of theatre, film, or TV - my History degree means I especially have the skills for researching or writing for productions.
I volunteer at the Royal exchange Costume Hire. I maintain, alter, and make costumes, as well as working with clients to find costumes.
I was a costume assistant on their pantomime production of Cinderella. I altered costumes for fit and decoration, as well as making some garments from scratch. I also worked with actors and the other people in the costume department to create the best costume for each character.
