About me
I am a freelance Publicly Director
Most recently I spent four years running Premier PR's (www.premiercomms.com) Performing Arts department
Prior to that I ran Prospero PR from 2005 until early 2016 when I moved the company into Premier.
I work with all kinds of performers, artists and companies to get their shows into the press, so they reach as wide an audience as possible. I focus on generating editorial and review coverage across all media platforms around the UK: aiming to secure previews, listings, news items, reviews, talent interviews and trailer placements to increase potential audiences’ awareness of the show and encourage ticket sales.
At the Edinburgh Fringe, in London, and on tour around the UK, I have worked on projects for clients that include Black Cat Cabaret, The Boom Boom Club at The Old Vic Tunnels, PULSE New Writing Festival, Orangutan Productions Othello, Ridiculusmus, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, political theatre activists Theatre Uncut, the Total Theatre Awards, Warwick Arts Centre, Custom/Practice, London Musical Theatre Orchestra, new writing specialists Reclaim Theatre, storytellers The Wrong Crowd, Circus Trick Tease, Fringe singing star Camille O’Sullivan, Canadian poet Baba Brinkman,Cabaret Star Jonny Woo, Operatic Cabaret Tour de Force Le Gateau Chocolat, and site specific immersive companies such as Dirty Market Theatre Company, fanSHEN and most recently a major immersive Edinburgh Festival production with Flabbergast Theatre
I also have extensive experience in the corporate world, most recently having headed up the PR for virtual conference Prohibition Partners Live 2020 (https://prohibitionpartners.live/)
