About me
I have a passion for marketing and whilst at university I worked as a junior marketing executive at Motonet Ltd. During my time here I gained key skills which have provided me with ability to successfully work in the marketing industry.
I also worked at MAC cosmetics in Selfridges, working as a retail artist for a leading beauty brand in one of London’s most prestigious stores, gave me first-hand experience and a unique insight into the marketing techniques that work for brands in the beauty industry, as well as learning essential market research techniques such as how reach and appeal to the brands target audience, and also how to tailor the brand and it’s products to suit each individual customers’ needs. In order to consistently achieve and surpass my sales targets, I quickly learnt how to market and promote hero products, new releases and brand collaborations; most importantly I learnt how to attract customers and keep them as customers by building personal connections and rapport.
In my spare time I am also a freelance makeup artist and beauty blogger, I create and edit makeup tutorials for my Instagram followers as well as reviewing and promoting various beauty products. Doing this has provided me with a unique insight into social-media marketing and the benefits of using bloggers and influencers as a means of promotion. Managing my beauty page, as well as creating and editing my makeup tutorials has improved my technological skills, as well as my social media management skills.
