About me

Madeline studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Massey University Wellington, which she quickly followed up with Media & Advertising at Victoria University. She has since taken on a range of roles in the creative industries from working at a large Post-Production & Animation house, through to colour consultancy. More recently she has honed her skills in talent management and has in-depth knowledge of advertising, design, digital, PR and media. She has spent two years working across the creative talent management industries where, during her time at 3rdeye in Auckland, New Zealand, Madeline's diverse background enabled her to spread herself across online & offline marketing, content creation, social media, Google Analytics & CRM/CMS and recruitment projects within the company, with no two days the same. Madeline loves dealing with people, holding a strong focus on communication, whilst also driving brand optimisation and strategy discussions.

  • 3rdeye is a boutique talent management agency based in Auckland, New Zealand, working locally, acting globally.. Offering specialised, expertise talent management, search, career and industry advice within the Advertising, Design, Digital and Media industries they focus on matching the best talent with the perfect client. In a hybrid role as Talent & Online Manager, I was responsible for 3rdeye's online & offline marketing; content creation, social media, Google Analytics, CRM/CMS, database & website management and talent management projects within the company, with no two days the same. Able to cope with multiple projects at once, I was the go-to person who could pull projects (& people) into line, whilst keeping everyone happy with the day-to-day ensuring the studio was running smoothly and efficiently at all times. I am a strong communicator and feel confident in liaising with designers, developers, art-directors and producers, keeping deadlines in mind & keeping the creative vision at the epicenter of anything that leaves the door.


Creative Talent Manager

  • As a creative talent manager specialising in creative disciplines at The Pond, I matched advertising, digital and design agencies with the best freelance creatives available - from motion graphics, art directors, copywriters & creative teams through to designers & illustrators. I was responsible for vetting new members, negotiating start times, confirming confidentiality contracts and structuring rates that worked for both the clients budget & the creatives needs. During my time at The Pond I also filled the role of Creative Talent Ambassador. This role saw me actively look after The Pond’s existing, new and prospect creative members through retention and acquisition campaigns. I managed the internal processes around these campaigns as well as other staff’s contributions.
