Media and Communications graduate of Goldsmiths University, with specialised skills in features and magazine journalism. I gained practical experience within both fashion and music journalism with a specific interest in women’s lifestyle features; including topics such as sexuality, mental health, beauty and fashion. My accomplished technical skills include writing and editing features; interviews and research; Adobe InDesign magazine design and experience in social media management strategies. I am now looking for a graduate role to utilise, and build on the skills I have developed.

At The Sunday Times Style I learnt about the production value of the magazine, as well as the delegation of roles and what makes a successful weekly publication. I worked closely alongside the beauty director in preparation for their beauty issue, developing research for her upcoming features. I regularly contributed social media ideas for Style’s online platforms, and built videos that were posted on Twitter and Facebook to an audience of 210,000 followers. At times I was called upon to act as PA to the editor, a position of responsibility which helped me develop and display my organisational skills and professional attitude.

During my free time I work as the creative director for The Femme Collective, and produce their Zine Femme bi-annually. This role helps me to develop my skills primarily in Adobe InDesign software, as well as maintaining brand continuity and constant house style, whilst simultaneously evolving the artistic direction of the brand. I work closely with the two founders and editors of the zine in order to create a beautiful magazine which sells out hundreds of copies of each issue. This also represents my passion in keeping print media alive within a constant migration to online magazines.
