About me
A practising professional in the field of cultural production and art dissemination. Makesa Kaizen is an associate lecturer (BA Criticism, Culture & Curation) and Cultural Producer, leading projects such as The WHO Gallery and Salon RT, both migrating spaces that focus on emerging artists, and collaborations within existing spaces for the purpose of producing experimental exhibitions.
A driven, articulate and studious individual whose passions are mainly centred around the art and design industries. These characteristics combined with a meticulous work ethic, an appetite for learning and a genuine desire to share knowledge has seen him progress within the areas of logistics, curatorial and co-ordinator roles.
Makesa Kaizen's ambition and area of focus are to merge the online digital space with the offline principles of a traditional gallery — “I am motivated by disruptive models of business and curation that further the development of cultural production”.
