About me
Over seven years of experience managing and coordinating hospitality, entertainment and corporate events for both high profile clients and corporate accounts, I am very experienced in the events and entertainment industry, and I am looking for an opportunity to further develop my skills whilst contributing to a creative and innovative entertainment organisation. I graduated from University with a BA Honours in Events Management, where I then went on to manage and coordinate events at The Hilton Hotel, Park Plaza Hotel and QEII Centre. I am experienced with managing high calibre events, for example, during my time with The Hilton Hotel I was a key point of contact for VIPs at events such as the MOBO Awards, The X Factor, The National Football League (NFL) and English Premier League where I would manage, coordinate and organise their after parties, host dinners, support with on the day client and event requirements, as well as organise accommodation and travel. Furthermore, through my experience with the QEII AV Production team, I have also been involved in AV Production planning meetings to go through the event specification, followed by liaising with the tech team regarding technical set up, as well as the production booth during live events. In addition to this, during my time with QEII Centre I was responsible for hosting Head of States, members of the Royal family and Presidents at events such at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. I also have HR recruitment experience with The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) department. I offer clients creative and innovative ideas to develop and introduce their events into leading markets, whilst ensuring that thorough planning, logistics, marketing and customer service is the foundation to a successful event. I am extremely organised, I have excellent customer service skills, and I am excellent at working under pressure and problem solving in fast paced environments. I am confident that my knowledge, skills, experience and passion have contributed to the successful execution of the many events I have managed, and with these transferable skills and the experience I have also gained with QEII AV Production team at QEII Centre, I look forward to applying these skills and experience further in the music, entertainment industries.     QEII Centre is the largest dedicated conference and exhibition centre in Central London, hosting 29 conference and event spaces with the capacity to hold up to 2500 delegates. QEII offers high profile conferences, conventions, exhibitions, and corporate events. I currently manage multiple high-profile events for clients including national and international government bodies and corporate clients. I am an account manager for the client and responsible for organising logistics with their event organiser and senior executives; offering clients creative and innovative ideas to develop and introduce their events into leading markets. In addition to this, I coordinate the activities of porters, cleaners, security, production, and in-house catering across all events to guarantee a successful event, through liaison with these respective departments. I also manage crowd control and conduct risk assessments ensuring the health and safety of all delegates and teams throughout each event.
