I am a hardworking and determined 18 years old passionated by art, images, and people especially in the fashion industry. I am currently following a foundation in Art and design course at the University of the arts London before attending Goldsmiths university next year to study Journalism. I am looking for an opportunity to gain experience in the Fashion, Photography or Media industry in order to familiarise myself with those areas as I hope to work in them in the future Throughout my foundation course, I have produced a wide range of political pieces. For instance, one of my projects was a series photomontages portraying the revolution and dictatorship in Libya, Syria, and Tunisia. These collages were mass printed around a studio as propaganda were to be in authoritarian a regime. I also recently completed a piece on the struggle black women have with truly embracing their natural hair. Especially, when black influential women hide under extensions and wigs in the media, which does not have a positive and empowering impact on the feminine black youth. To illustrate this phenomenon, I created a series of 3D collages and photographs. I have also had a strong interest in fashion photography, consequently, I have styled, directed and photographed many shoots in my spare time as it is something I truly enjoy. I also got the opportunity to follow a Fashion photography short course at the UAL London College of Fashion. Despite my young age, I believe I have to potential and the drive to be a successful intern.
