I'm an experienced freelance editor, journalist and copywriter with a strong history of working for award-winning print titles. I work across a broad range of subjects specialising in travel, design, lifestyle and the arts, and I have been shortlisted for "Travel Writer of the Year" at the Travel Media Awards in two consecutive years.
Previously, I was Editor of Oryx, the inflight magazine for Qatar Airways and Deputy Editor for N by Norwegian, the inflight magazine for Norwegian Air; worked as Design Editor for ICON magazine; and was Editor for Indesign, Australia’s leading architecture and design title.
Alongside editorial work, I take on freelance copywriting projects and am skilled at producing content across multiple platforms (including digital and social) and working with brands to create a strong identity and communications.

Relaunched in January 2017, Oryx is the new-look, high-end inflight magazine for Qatar Airways, one of the best airlines in the world. Reaching 30 million readers a year, the magazines focuses on a different theme each month with an emphasis on luxury, lifestyle and travel. Covering Qatar’s 160+ destinations worldwide with beautifully crafted stories, the content gives passengers inspiration on how best to travel the world. As Editor, I was responsible for bringing each issue from concept to print, commissioning writers and photographers, writing content (from news to features), representing the brand around the world, building and maintaining a relationship with the client, and working closely with the sales and production teams.

Norwegian prides itself on being a game-changing airline, so n is like no other inflight magazine. It keeps readers engaged with original, intelligent and beautiful stories from the airline’s vast network, as well as entertaining passengers with the quirky facts they never knew they wanted to know. n is playful but straightforward and easy for Norwegian’s curious and smart international audience to understand and enjoy.
As Deputy Editor, I was responsible for commissioning and writing the front section of the magazine, writing features, supporting the editor in all aspects of production, and working closely with the client, sales and production teams. I also looked after the website when it launched, uploading existing content and creating new online content to support the print magazine; and wrote online city guides for the airline's website.
