Organised a seminar with the head of Team Kaboan (Colin Herron), a well-known and famous martial art coach. Managed a team of 4 committee members to help with club operations and independently organised venues, coaches and termly reports for the Student’s Union. Managed and kept detailed document about equipment state and new purchases required for training sessions.
Created a Fight Night event with the university’s Student’s Union under a budget. Established a professional relationship with the BAMMA (UK MMA organisation) announcer. Produced £1000 profit.
In terms of business relationships, I gained affiliation with a well-known martial arts club (Team Kaobon) and negotiated a 20% club discount with RDX (equipment company).
Lastly, I received a national sports award due to participation in competitions (Half-Colours).
