Brazilian born but raised global, Manoela Chiabai is a creative producer who brings passion, cultural sensitivity, and a love for photography to her slate of projects. Due to her unrivalled energy, she and GQ’s in-house production team innovated amidst a global pandemic to create a star-studded awards ceremony featuring short documentaries with names such as Michaela Coel, Lewis Hamilton, and more. Within the commercial realm, Chiabai aims to support authentic storytelling culminating in campaigns for Guinness in Lagos, Tofoo with an advert on Channel 4, and a takeover of the VANS stores and social media all over Europe. Alongside this, she has worked on music videos for Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, Hurts, Olly Alexander, Mahalia and is in an ongoing collaboration with Sons of Raphael on more long-form music projects. She works in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese and is currently developing a mixture of narrative, documentary, and music-based projects with Black Dog Films and Ridley Scott Associates.
