About me

I enjoy celebrating the extraordinary diversity of nature, its shapes and forms, as well as its bold, and sometimes unexpected, colour. My work is often mixed media, but the use of watercolour (alongside inks) features heavily - resulting in ornate and eye-catching pieces. My hand drawn illustrations depict all things botanical, animal, flora and fauna and having a background in textile design, the use of patterns feature quite often in my work. I love to depict nature and I am fuelled by a love of colour and detail.

• Baileys x Lewis MoberlyConcept illustrations for packaging design commissioned by Lewis Moberly for Baileys Almonde - the first vegan offering of the brand launched in 2016.
• Chest Heart Stroke ScotlandSurface pattern design for greeting cards and gift wrap available in store and online for Chest Heart Stroke Scotland.
• Royal Botanic Gardens EdinburghLimited edition exclusive product range under the Marcella Wylie brand and sold exclusively by the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. The range included tote bags and cushions all made in the UK and designed by Marcella - taken from her floral illustrations.
• Gratitude x NHS x Wild In ArtSelected to paint one of 52 sculptures for the public art Gratitude Exhibit, which featured Dame Zandra Rhodes as its Creative Director. The sculptures where created and painted by artists across the UK to celebrate and thank the NHS and key workers during the pandemic.
