First Time Filmmaker Sessions 2020Lift-Off Global Network
Lift-Off's First-Time Filmmakers Showcase is a quarterly event which aims to showcase and guide emerging talent from around the world. Held at the world-famous Pinewood Studios in the UK, the day-long event features multiple demonstrations from industry experts, catered to the selected filmmakers, as well as a screening of each selected film. The event also acts as a launchpad for the selected filmmakers, providing group and one-to-one feedback sessions, as well as the chance to win further screenings at our international film festivals. These feedback sessions follow a screening at an on-site cinema featuring each of the selected short films, provoking in-depth discussion from peers and our internal judges. Not only is our festival a global showcase for filmmakers looking to take that next step, we provide a free service where we take your work to the major film markets AFM, Cannes, EFM...etc All with the aim of getting your work acquired by distributors
