Directly managing a finance team of 3 • Management of administration staff • Management of Reprographics • Management of the inhouse catering staff Within the time here I have taken on managing the in-house catering team which had not been part of the role - and put a proposal together to work with Chefs in Schools to turn the school food offering around. We have gone from paninis heated up in plastic to freshly made salads and sandwiches and nutritious hot food created by an ex industry top chef and pastry chef. The bottom line was starting to improve just before COVID as the purchase costs had been streamlined and reduced. I also moved the school to being completely cashless as they were holding very large amounts of cash on site and have introduced HSBC net as the school was still using cheques for all payments.

• Responsibility for all aspects of financial management (under SORP) of the school and directly managing a finance team of 3. • Management of all administration staff • Management of the Facilities Manager and H&S for the school site • Management of the IT team • Management of HR • Managing all contracts such as the outsourced catering function Within the time there I proposed the hire of a Fundraising Manager and we raised over £100k cash/work provided for the school. I managed to save about £40k by going through all the services that were being purchased which in most cases were being either duplicated or not required. I improved all the reports that were used for financial management for the HT and for the Governing Board. I also completed an IT project the school had been trying to do for about 10 years which was to introduce Office 365 and improve the software/hardware within the school.
