Live Brief University Project – Finding Family
We were tasked with creating a 30 sec film adapted from a script of an interview. My main responsibility was director, script writing and animation. We worked well as a team, everyone inputted their ideas, set targets, played to everyone’s strengths and we produced a great film.

During my course, I learned how to use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier and other programs like Motion Artist and MediBang Paint pro. I successfully created four short films and a graphic novel that was also interactive. I also did life drawing classes and some modeling in my first and second year. In second year, for the live brief project, two of my ideas were chosen and I had the opportunity to be a director on one of the teams, I oversaw 3 people and created a 30 sec film. I also learned lip sync, some 3D animation, and theory such as acting with narrative and did historical contextual studies.
