About me
Hello, I am Marguerite, I am French, I have ben living in London for three years I benefit from more than five years of experience in the fashion industry in different roles, labels and companies with international scale. I graduated with a BA of Fashion Design at Studio Berot Paris. Following this, I worked as a PR, a Creative Director Assistant, a Knitwear Designer Assistant and I just started assisting Off Black magazine, on shootings, events, administration... As a Creative Director Assistant I was doing multiple tasks on a daily basis. I had to perform administrative tasks such as organising invoices, but also liaising with factories, completing research and developing the collection alongside the designer. Also, I worked in collaboration with a Graphic Designer for the creation of a new website, managed social media campaigns and the e-commerce site and more generally supported the design team in various ways. In communication, I worked mainly for Lucien Pagès Communication in Paris which represents brands such as JW Anderson, Olympia Le-Tan, APC, Moynat, Christophe Lemaire, Sacai to name a few. My professional activities as a PR Assistant and then Junior PR / Account Executive allowed me to complete a variety of roles ranging from the organisation of press events (e.g. Sacai show and showroom at Paris fashion week, A.P.C. dinner, launch of Julien David CD, with his DJ set at Colette) to the daily management of the office (e.g. Managing sample requests, realising reports, press releases, holding interviews) all while being in constant contact with journalists and stylists. I am still in contact and very good terms with the team, and help them out whenever they have got an event in London. I really enjoyed being a PR and after developing a breadth of skills in other positions within the fashion industry, it is where I feel the most comfortable. However I am not closing any doors, I have got a lot of interst in styling, buying, studio managing. I am now looking for a role where I will grow in.
